About

Statement of Purpose

Immanuel Lutheran Preschool is committed to helping parents fulfill the mandate of our Lord Jesus Christ that they bring up their children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). For this reason, we offer a Preschool in addition to our Sunday School and Vacation Bible School programs.

Our goal is to provide a quality program, which we feel will meet the spiritual, intellectual, social and physical needs of the child. Deuteronomy 6: 6-7 tells us to keep the commands of God in our hearts and teach them to our children in all that we do.

Philosophy

Immanuel Lutheran Preschool commits itself to God in providing quality education. We enhance a child’s spiritual growth by extending their relationship to God, to the Bible, to the church and to each other.
We nurture children within a secure, supportive environment while honoring their individual needs. We enable children to grow spiritually, emotionally, socially, intellectually and physically by planning varied learning experiences.

We present a Christ-centered curriculum while incorporating a complete range of activities in religion, readiness skills, science, social studies, dramatic play, sensory awareness, perceptual-motor development, music and art.

We respect parents by informing them of their child’s experiences and progress through informal contacts, monthly newsletters and the availability of the staff to discuss parental concerns. We dedicate ourselves to God by committing our skills and talents to teaching with His direction and blessing in Christian service to the community.
